Fish...

Hubby and I are on a 7 day detox starting tonight as I only bought all the goodies this morning...

We have to eat fish every night, now I don't have an issue with that, but hubby doesn't like it too much, all skinless fish, no batter. Is there any spices or nice thingies I can add to make it better looking for hubs any recipies you girlies have???

you can add, some lemon or just plain salt and pepper is nice, or rosemary, or you get some of those combined fish spices, or simple add garlic.

Try a few and add as you go along fish is easy it just needs to be cooked right!

We also eating fish tonight!

Have you got a steamer? Or I cook fillets in the micro with fish spice and lemon juice (cover it with cling wrap and cook it for like 5 minutes) you can test if its done by breaking a small piece and checking if its cooked right thru. also with the steamer, sprinkle lemon juice and spice over. YUMMY. Or have you seen the steamer ones you from I&J you get the roasted pepper one, 3 cheese and garlic and black pepper

Hi Monz...

Put it in foil, cut onion slices of lemon, salt and loads of garlic and squeese some lemon juice over cover and put under the grill...

Or fry in a pan with a little bit of olive oil with salt, lemon and Garlic... Cut into little cubes... Nice like that...

What fish did you get... These I&J stuff is not nice, if there is a place where you can get fresh, go for Dorado or Kingklip... My absolute favourite...

Mmmm I am in such a mood for a fish braai... think that is on the menu for Sunday...

Garlic, Lemon & Peri-Peri Prawns
Kinglip & Dorado cubes in some batter
Nice fresh Greeck Salad
And some Garlic Rolls... Mmmmmm

Nah, not fresh here like at the sea (just not the same), lucky fish you! Dorado is good, I just got the plain hake skinless fillets, cause hubby has to eat the plain old fishy, just want to spice it up, but not with too much stuff, then the detox is not working properly...

What about peri-peri. It says that chillies actually spead up the metabolism. It does not have be hot, just spiced a bit.
