etiquette in birthday invites?

Post by Kerryw on Thu 16 Jan 2014 - 6:48

I am doing an easy birthday for the boys this year cause I will be too big and uncomfortable to do a big party also there is some baby stuff I have to get still.

The boys love the croc and reptile farm place in 4ways and they do parties but you have to pay entrance for all your guests I want to keep it to 8 kids and 8 parents (so I can afford it) but how do i politely on the invite explain that only one adult can come with each kid?

or should I just send party packs to school and explain to the boys they can have a big party again next year?

KerryW I don't do the party thing every year so when it happens we go big and they enjoy more.
We are skipping this year as we did it last year and they seem to be happy with it that way.

That is really difficult situation. I would rather leave it.

In my opinion as a parent, I wouldn't expect to be paid for. I would expect to pay for myself and hubby if he comes along.

Yes I would also pay for myself. I would say entrance fee is free for kids only. End of story. I wouldnt mind at all. These days dont the moms normally do parties alone?

Depends on who they know at the party - but it should change soon as they are getting bigger.

What age can you just drop them off?
