Looooong time so see!

Post by Lallie on Wed 21 Aug 2013 - 14:18

Hi girls! Have not been on here for a while. But as always, I would like to ask you for advice....

My baby boy is 11 months ( can you believe it?! )
I have 2 questions:
1: he still has a night time bottle. Anything between 2 - 6 am he wants something to drink. I was planning on not giving him one last night bit when i went to calm him down i heard his tummy grumble!!!!! I felt SO bad, i gave him a bottle as fast as i could make it! He has n bottle when i put him down for the night, so i did not think he'll be hungry. Any thoughts?

2: he wakes every morning with soaked clothes and nappy. His nappy is dry at the back and all the pee in front makes it leak!! I'm n pampers fan. Obviously i put him down with n dry nappy at night. Help please.

Thanks again!! X

Hmm is he eating enough dinner? and have you considered supplementing that last bottle?

i struggled a bit with wet nappies at the front with my one son he liked to sleep on his tummy and it leaked then. I think I changed to bigger nappies to get a better seal in the front and more absorbance. but it was a problem for a while.

Mmmmm, bottle I am not sure, but as Kerry suggests, maybe increase his food intake?

Nappy, either a bigger size, or maybe huggies (I think someone mentioned before that huggues works better with boys?) Also, wys daai tottertjie af?

Hey Lallie! WOW! 11months already???

what time do you have supper and what time does he go down for the night? maybe if you give him a snack half an hour before bed, he'll stay fuller for longer?

Why not try the new huggies gold for boys, I had the same problem with W, no matter what brand, everything incl the bedding was soaking wet in the mornings! Havent had any problems with the boy nappies so far (touch wood!)

Try Huggies Gold but in one bigger size. Luhan still is a 3/4 but I put him to bed with a 5. Works like a charm!

We also had the Pampers issue, but Cuddlers sorted that out, since its a bit thicker and broader in the front. Zander is four and he still likes to take a bottle of horlicks to bed Smile

I am also a Pampers fan Lallie and also had a problem with clothes getting wet at 1 pint. I think when they were on a 4 and thought it was just a batch. I used to put a pilchar for them at nite over ther napking. It solved the problem of wet clothes.

How much is his bedtime bottle? He is obviously having 3 meals a day now?
I tried huggies gold and they leaked so im onto Pampers also. Have u tried pampers premium? The white pack. Its way better for nights.
