Not putting up a ticker but ....

I'll just mention it in here that I was my all time heaviest by the end of December so around the 20th of January I went back on my protein diet and to date I'm down 7kg's which really just takes me back to my previously heaviest weight. First two weeks were great but Im finding the loss a lot slower now (could be because I give myself one cheat day and on that day still have my whiskeys) - thats my vice, I enjoy it and won't give it up.
I have 20kg's to lose to be down to where I want but trying not to look at the bigger picture - taking it a week at a time.

Good for you for taking the first step in making a difference.
The best is to break it down in smaller goals, like you are doing.
Loosing 7kg is hard work and a great achievement. Well done on that!

All the best with this journey. It is tough, but we are women and we can do ANYTHING we put our minds to. It doesn't mean we don't get tired, we do! But we pick ourselves up an carry on!

Thanks Anel you're right - I need to realise that my biggest enemy is myself - get over that hurdle and lose the weight once and for all

WOw!, its a GREAT start Hope!! Well done on the 7kgs!!!

I think a person just reaches the point where, 'OKAY NOW Im gonna do something about it' and that is when it happens easily with some lifestyle changes.

I dont think wisky is fattening with water is it? How do you drink yours?

Thanks Zee - yes I drink it with water but I find Im always up for 2 days afterwards - obviously water retention.
I really and truly hope this is the time where I decide to go all the way - I hate being fat - it affects every aspect of my life ESPECIALLY my photography!
