AF & Diet

Post by Des on Thu 9 Sep 2010 - 6:44

So i was sure she was going to arrive early this week, did the calc and my cycle is pretty close to 28 days normally. Thursday and still nothing, to say im panicing is an understatement.

What I wanted to know was can the change in diet etc affect your cycle, if anything i would have thought it would be more regular?

Altho my timing may be a bit out.

CRAP! We wanted another baby but not so soon :-(

The only way diet should affect your cycle is when you eat very very little which then could cause it to stay away completely.

Have you changed BC?

I think a test is coming up.....

nah dude im eating plenty.

HAHA BC, i stopped taking when I started dieting cos it stabilizes my weight and we have been using condoms when we have been doing it, which has been pretty seldom.

Im not stressed about the money or coping with another baby, its just that I feel my little madam needs to be our one and only for a while longer. I guess we will adapt.

I think ill test on monday if AF hasnt arrived.

Have you got any other symptoms?

Gosh and I thought this post was going to be about craving choclates while your on AF...

If you have a diet high in fibre and low in fat it can SOMETIMES delay your AF

You will only miss your AF if you have dropped a drastic amount of weight - because fat helps you produce estrogen and if you don't produce it you won't have a period - make sense?

are you more stressed than usual?

I know how you feel about the not wanting another baby yet, I also wanted Damion all to myself but now the he's 2 - and keeps asking me for a baba - we decided to try next year may (WTF AM I MAD)

I say test today - go make a wee wee on a stickie
