Apple tart

Embedded Saucy pple Tart

• 37.5 ml soft baking margerine or butter
• 187.5 ml sugar
• 3 eggs
• 375 ml flour
• 10 ml baking powder
• 187.5 ml milk
• Salt
• 1 big tin of apples

Mix butter and sugar.
Add 3 whisked eggs.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
Mix all the ingredients together and pour in a medium sized bowl. If you are using the tart moulds you will need two if you are using a large tin of apples.
Pack the apples onto the poured dough. It will "embed" into the dough.
Bake for 35 minutes @ 170C.

Sauce

• 500 ml cream (or a tin ideal milk)
• 250 ml sugar
• 10 ml caramel essence
Boil everything in the microwave, but keep a close eye so it doesn't boil over

Pour the sauve over the tart the minute you take it out. Let it absorb a bit (about ten minutes), then pour over, wait a bit, pour over. It will seem like you have too much sauce but just let it stand a bit and continue pouring over.

VOILA!
