Chicken a la king

Chicken A La King

4 Chicken breasts
500ml water with dissolved chicken stock
1 chopped onion
Oil and margarine for frying
1 chopped green pepper
1 packet/can of mushrooms
1 packet of mushroom soup made with 125 ml of milk
2 tablespoons mayonnaise

Boil chicken until tender in the chicken stock water
Let it cool down and debone
Keep water.
Fry onion and garlic in the margerine.
Add green pepper and fry some more
Add chicken and mushrooms
Add stock water
Add mushroom soup with mayonnaise and let it boil on low heat

Serve with rice

Add Broccoli and cauliflower for variety

This can also be used as a chicken pie recipe
